I was at home, browsing the internet, when a website popped up announcing an amateur basketball tournament to be held sometime in October.  The organizers of the event were inviting different communities to participate and send at least one team to represent them. The website showed details of the tournament, the prizes to be won and the rules and regulations.  There were also different divisions or categories, like the midgets, high school division and the above forty.

My group of friends in school was quite interested in joining the high school division of the tournament.  The prizes were tempting and also, we had nothing to lose.  It was also the best way to show our skills in basketball and have a great time.  Web hosting made it possible for us to be informed of the basketball event, its policies and requirements, and people to contact.
